Yura

Welcome

Yura means welcome for the people of Quandamooka Country and Iona College respects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders as the first people to call Australia home.

Aspiration, inspired by Jesus, for the benefit of others, has always been a core element of Iona College since 1957. The Oblates of Mary Immaculate have worked closely with families for generations and the purpose of this masterplan is to continue to develop our precious College in a strategic and visionary way that meets current and future needs.

This masterplan has been achieved through collaboration with the college community to co-create a human-centred vision, using human experiences on site, and will influence all future projects. It is an innovative, flexible framework that is of Iona College, for Iona College. This framework will help guide the College to identify needs and plan strategically to invest in the future development of the College
