The First Science Laboratory

In the 1960s the school’s first Science laboratory and was located behind Long Block.  Father Henry McFall O.M.I. is pointing to the building while two teaching priests Fathers John O’Regan O.M.I. and John Cranley O.M.I.(right), look on. A new Science block which included laboratories, a preparation room and the tuckshop was built and used from 1966. It later became known as the Duhig building.

Today, Science classes are held in modern facilities in the McFall building which came into use in 2006. A smaller, Marine Studies building was added in 2016.
