The new proposed Aquatic Centre is to be located off North Road, which will enable greater use before and after school by the school community. The facility will include an eight-lane 50m pool and a smaller warm up and training pool.

The development includes a new clubhouse to meet the needs of St Eugene’s Park. The existing grounds facilities will be rationalised to the north of the new Aquatic Centre. A civic plaza will provide much needed covered space with viewing areas to the new Iona Tennis Centre with Barton Family Showcourts, and Fuller Oval. Formalisation of car parking to the south of St Eugene’s Park will increase the capacity for visitor spaces. Amenities and associated services will also be accommodated.
