Masterplan

Oblate Hall Redevelopment

This key asset is envisioned as a new outdoor learning and social space for the college community. It is designed to engage with new developments on the site, encompassing the old swimming pool to the north and a future learning building to the east. The Oblate Hall will be converted to a covered plaza retaining the historical connection of a gathering place while providing much needed outdoor flexible learning spaces and a social precinct.

The proposed new building on the site of the old pool will have an open undercroft that will connect the new building to the Fr. Davine O.M.I. Oval. It is also proposed to house a multi-purpose event space and roofed terraces that will look out over the school and the oval. This space will provide a potential showcase with honour boards and enable special college community groups and visitors to meet.
